Job Description: CDL-A Solo Driver

Description:
100% Drop and hook (no touch) single or double trailers with a co-driver.

Schedule:
Average dispatch time between 8-10am daily. Short runs return by around 3:30pm and longer runs return around 5:30pm. Occasionally drivers could return as late as 10:30pm but this is an exception not a rule. We also have a dedicated evening run to Tacoma. We prefer drivers that can run 6 days per week however, we have 5-day and weekend schedules available. We also have a dedicated evening run to Tacoma.
For the night shift, the average dispatch time is between 8-10 pm. This particular schedule operates five days a week, from Friday to either Tuesday or Sunday to Thursday

Compensation:
Guaranteed daily pay $270+ per day.
Pay varies from $0.66 per mile plus weekly bonuses.
For example: If you run 5 days at a rate of $300 per day with 2500 miles for the week that could be either $1500 (5 x $300) or $1650 (2500 x $.66). You would get paid $1650 because it's the higher of the two. If you were only to run 1000 miles in those five days, you would receive the guaranteed rate of $1500 (5 x $300).

Equipment:
Late model Cascadias with Automatic Transmissions. Sleeper cab although you will not be sleeping in the truck - you will be home every night.
About 65% of our routes pull double trailers and 35% pull 53’ dry vans

Required Qualifications:
Tractor/Trailer Driving: 1 year minimum recent experience
License/Certification: CDL A with doubles/triples endorsement
Must pass Fedex background check and live within a reasonable distance to terminal
